I was made aware of how I communicate poorly. I learned how to avoid negative interpretations and to ask questions for clarity, as well as how to watch the tone I use when communicating.
The nine-week commitment is very much worth it!
I feel like I have a better understanding of God's Word in relation to marriage.
I loved having mentors to help us and to have round table discussions about the material.
I have never been a good communicator or good at expressing my feelings and learning about these topics really helped me.
I learned to respond with 'What I hear you saying is' so that I made sure I understood what is being communicated.
I would 100% recommend this class to others. I thought it was awesome.
We were made to consider and talk with one another about topics we never had before. It really helped us grow closer and on a deeper level.
Learning to communicate well and to respect one another were tools that were most effective.
The finance topic was the most challenging but we learned how to work on them together once we are married.
The homework questions were extremely effective. They allowed us to discuss things that I do not think would have come up organically.
After taking this class I have learned to be mindful of how I lead our relationship.

This has been a great experience as "new" newlyweds.
I think the biggest thing I've learned is how to be mindful while communicating. I don't take things as personally as I used to.
This class has helped me be more open to my wife and to see and understand my relationship with God and my spouse.
We already have what I feel is a good marriage (relationship). This experience has actually improved parts of our marriage I didn't realize could be improved.
This class has really opened my husband up with communication. I feel it has made us stronger and will continue to grow together with our faith and commitment.
This class has opened my eyes to many aspects of our marriage. Bringing up issues versus keeping them bottled up has made a big impact.
The topics that are hard to talk about normally were well written and very engaging. They were easy and clear to work through with my spouse.
We are a work in progress. but we have the tools to get through without damage.
I was so happy to learn to grown and love deeper with my husband. This has helped so much! I would let everyone who is newly or married a long time know that this helps. Lots of great tools to put to use.
We loved our time in ReEngage. We have shared our ReEngage story and have sent 3 more couples on their journey to grow together. We have even talked about attending another round to just keep ourselves moving in the right directions.
